Liverpool have reportedly set their sights on signing a 17-year-old winger.

The Reds have been  busy in the transfer market with the addition of Jeremie Frimpong and Armin Pecsi already this summer.

Both players have already been announced, and there is a feeling that Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez will follow in the next couple of days.

However, Arne Slot’s side are not just focused on signing established stars.

The Reds also want to secure their future with the signing of young players.

The signing of Pecsi is a perfect example of Liverpool’s transfer strategy, with the Hungarian goalkeeper signed with the future in view.

Liverpool are set to repeat that trick with the signing of 2009-born winger Sidy Barhama Ndiaye.

This is according to  France Football journalist Nabil Djellit, who reports that Liverpool are making a move for the Senegal wonderkid after scouting him in the U17 African Cup of Nations.

According to the journalist, the transfer of the Diambars academy player is estimated to cost  €1m, with things said to be working well in Senegal for the success of the deal.
